Biography

Maria Paulina Martelo is originally from Colombia and moved to the United States after college, where she studied Psychology. She began her life in the U.S. in Massachusetts, living there for several years and attending Harvard University to study English. Over time, she lived in multiple states, and with each move, her appreciation for this country continued to grow.

Having personally relocated and purchased homes in Ohio, Pittsburgh, and Florida before returning to Ohio, Maria brings firsthand experience to buyers navigating relocation. She understands the challenges of moving to a new city or state and excels at helping clients feel confident and informed throughout the relocation process. Her own journey allows her to guide clients through everything from neighborhood selection to timelines and logistics with clarity and care.

Maria is especially passionate about helping first-time homebuyers and Spanish-speaking clients. As a bilingual real estate agent fluent in Spanish and English, she works closely with Spanish-speaking investors and homebuyers, whether they are new to real estate or experienced investors expanding their portfolios. She is known for clearly explaining the buying and investing process, helping clients understand their options, and ensuring nothing gets lost in translation.
